Ich habe dieses Buch für den Urlaub gekauft... genau wie sie es im Buch beschrieben hat. ;)Das Buch war super zu lesen und ich habe auch häufiger lachen müssen. Als einziges Manko habe ich empfunden, dass sie eine Rede, die sie in Harvard gehalten hat, einfach reinkopiert hat und sich somit gefühlt ein Kapitel gespart hat. Es war natürlich auch lustig zu lesen, aber ich habe es irgendwie als ein bisschen unpassend empfunden.
Ein lustiges Buch was mal einen guten Blick hinter die Kulissen und in die Gedankenwelt von Mindy wirft. Ich finde sie sehr sympathisch und habe viel gelacht. Ihre Bücher haben mir besser gefallen als z.B. Amy Poehlers YES PLEASE. Ein super Nachfolger zu ihrem Erstlingswerk auch wenn ich mich freuen würde wenn die Bücher etwas länger wären, aber bei Ihrem Arbeitspensum wundert es mich wie sie überhaupt geradeaus laufen kann.
Ich mag Mindy Kaling und ihren Humor und dementsprechend war es genau das richtige Buch für mich. Ein toller Nachfolger für "Is everyone hanging out without me?" Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)Kaufempfehlung!
Quite a funny book with sweet personal insights and humorous stories. A great read for a quite afternoon or a vacation day.
Super Buch, habe selten so viel gelacht beim lesen, werde definitiv ihr anderes auch noch lesen. Habe nur leider noch nicht herausgefunden wie man die Erklärung der Vokabel, die teilweise störend ist beim Kindle ausstellt
Wer Mindy Kaling mag und ihr erstes Buch gelesen hat, wird auch an diesem Buch viel Freude haben. Ich habe etliche Male lachen müssen.
Ich mag Mindy Kaling sehr und mag auch wie sie ihre Bücher schreibt. Sie erzählt aus ihrem Leben, ob Arbeit oder Soziales, und das mit viel Humor. Ihr erstes Buch hat mir zwar besser gefallen, aber es ist es dennoch wert für richtige Fans.
Wie nicht anders erwartet, liest sich das Buch sehr leicht und flüssig und wer beim lesen nicht wenigstens schmunzelt ist selber schuld.
